Our Journey

Road to Justice, Inc. began as a heartfelt response to the story of Khali Pyatt‑Muhammad, who at 19 received an 81‑year prison sentence. Over 23 years, Khali has dedicated himself to personal transformation, mentoring youth and guiding them away from the mistakes he once made. However, telling his story was only the beginning. Driven by his own journey and a passion to prevent others from enduring similar hardships, Road to Justice, Inc. has grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization making huge impacts in the community.

Today, we provide hands‑on prevention, intervention, and re-entry programs focused on youth, especially those facing mental health and substance use challenges.

Through these efforts, Road to Justice not only shares Khali’s powerful story, but actively works to break cycles of addiction and incarceration. We partner with families, schools, justice agencies, and behavioral health providers to create a coordinated, trauma-informed system of care for young people.

Our approach emphasizes compassion, community engagement, and measurable outcomes to ensure every participant has the support needed for lasting success.
