Our Journey

Road to Justice, Inc. was inspired by the story of Khali Pyatt-Muhammad, who at 19 received an 81-year prison sentence. During more than two decades of incarceration, Khali transformed his life, mentored youth, and became committed to helping others avoid the path he once took. His journey became the foundation for Road to Justice.

Today, Road to Justice is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing prevention, intervention, mental health, substance use, and re-entry services for youth and families. We work alongside schools, families, justice agencies, and behavioral health providers to break cycles of addiction and incarceration and create pathways to healing, growth, and opportunity.

Our work is grounded in compassion, community, and the belief that every person deserves the support and opportunity to build a better future.
